Nicole and Linda's Profile

About

PG Dingle Dangles originated with myself, Linda and my daughter Nicole moving to Pacific Grove, Ca. We initially were making them for ourselves and friends and have now progressed to selling them. We have hung them in our window in the sunlight and in the garden from our trees. We find beads at flea markets and yard sells, use old costume jewelry and shop at craft stores. We spend the afternoon in the sun, listening to the ocean and string beads. Sometimes there is a little wine thrown into the mix. So needless to say the energy that goes along with these beads is very good and fun energy. We also have a guest artist occasionally, my younger daughter, Noelle from Orlando, Fl.

I started decorating suitcases in the early 80's. I have been collaging as long as I can remember, it seems to eak out of my very pores. The moment I touch a suitcase I know where I want to go with it. Each…

I started decorating suitcases in the early 80's. I have been collaging as long as I can remember, it seems to eak out of my very pores. The moment I touch a suitcase I know where I want to go with it. Each suitcase is different, I have been creating and selling them for about 25 years. Each one takes approx 3 or 4 months, there are many fine coats of glue on each one. The suitcases that are listed on here now have all been put together in the last year. I love giving these bags a second life, it is my therapy. They have been used for travel and hold up very well. I have sold them to people who used them in staging homes, storing CD's, photos and treasures.
We also have vintage items listed on monsieuraleon.etsy.com.
