When I was little I couldn’t decide between wanting to be an astronaut or a fashion designer when I grew up. As it turned out I now hold a Ph.D. in Marine Science from the College of William and Mary and spent time as an Aquanaut living underwater off the Florida Keys! I am a full time professor in the sciences but when I'm not teaching or underwater, I make jewelry. My designs have a certain feel to them that appeals as every day jewelry but with a cool difference. They are modern, clean, classic and tightly edited but with a twist, a beautiful stone, a randomly placed detail, interesting texture or shape. Smart but DEFINITELY not boring.
