About

I was introduced to visual art as a child and it has always been my outlet for expressing how I feel and what is going on throughout my head. It is my therapy and a window into my mind and how I perceive things. It has been a coping mechanism for me and an escape. Ever since then, I have always used art and music as a way to internally come to terms with not only my life, but also my views on it. Every once in a while I have been able to look back at my works and realize something about myself I never knew before was there.

I originally enrolled at Savannah College of Art and Design in 2001 for painting but ultimately graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design.

During college, I lost faith in the fine arts aspects of my work and pursued a commercial art avenue, merging my knowledge of art history and pop culture within a more commercial art setting. Since graduating, I have been a successful working designer in Atlanta. I have explored music, sound design, painting and now photography as my personal window into my world and challenge on reality and standards. Photography is something that spawned as a necessary skill to acquire in order to be a more successful graphics artist.

As life is a cycle, I found myself using photographs to help cope with my emotions and grow as a person. In turn, I find myself in the fine arts that I had long ago abandoned. This is me starting off to realizing my potential and my passions. It is a humble beginning but everyone has to start somewhere.
