I love food--this perhaps compels me further than any other natural drive. Bread, milk and cookies, sauces, butter, pasta, juice, and even leftovers all have fundamental influence in the making process. My pots are useful for enjoying tonight’s dinner. Yet I haven’t forgotten the chef’s pleasure: I also make pots specifically for the preparation and storage of your choice cuisine.
Function is of great consideration for a pot; moreover, aspirations are imperative and I reckon where life is born. I want my pots to reveal a subtle beauty reflective in their use and a humility derived from their character. Ultimately, I hope that these traits persuade all people to bless their neighbor.
I work with stoneware clay on a wheel and glaze my pots in a straightforward manner. I fire in a reduction atmosphere but occasionally use other methods. My collection includes…
