I'm just an old-fashioned girl. Every New Year's Eve, I resolve to start a new club or regular event. I am nocturnal, domestic, obsessive-compulsive, and a total pack rat. I have a stubborn love for the archaic and impractical. I work with equipment from the turn of the century (no, not this century), drive a 36 year old foreign car, use a rotary phone, make pies the way my grandma taught me, love almost nothing more than browsing through antique books, and still prefer my cocktails with the ingredients in their names. I have a stubborn love for the archaic and impractical. I can look at a menu and know exactly what I want in under a minute. I am a listmaker and a diagrammer, and color coordination is very dear to my heart. Sometimes I lie in bed at night imagining crossword formations. I love state and county fairs and festivals for things like artichokes and peanuts, and especially the drive home.
