Priscilla's Jewelry's Profile

About

Hello,
My name is Priscilla and I'm the owner of Priscilla's Jewelry; this is my story. I've always been the uniquely creative one in my family. From sketching to molding clay, I've always had a passion to learn and master new skills. My journey with crafting jewelry began about 10 years ago when I entered my first art class junior year of high school. I wanted to craft something with my own hands no one else thought to try. I started off with seed beads and a few hand tools. I made various hand woven bracelets and necklaces. But the small seed beads were becoming too strenuous for my eyes to focus on. I knew I didn't want to give up so I tried new styles of jewelry making and felt confident enough to share my creations with the world; I signed up for my first craft fair in Fresno, Ca. About

Hello,
My name is Priscilla and I'm the owner of Priscilla's Jewelry; this is my story. It was there that I met a woman named Melissa who told me about a handmade marketplace called Etsy. That very same day I signed up. I never could have imagined I'd be as successful as I am today.
With years of hard work, experimenting, and practicing, I finally settled on wire wrapping as my choice for jewelry making. Thanks to my husband, my wonderful customers and their support, I was finally able to meet my goal and purchase an engraving machine. With this machine so many more possibilities have opened and I am finally able to offer personalized jewelry.
I continue to work on my shop everyday. My goal now is to be able to make Priscilla's Jewelry my full time job and earn enough to make a living. Every order helps bring me closer to that dream and I am so thankful for each and every one I get. Even after almost 5,000 orders, I still jump with excitement when I hear the "Cha Ching!" sale notification on my phone.
This past year has been a difficult one for me. I have been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease. Though it is exhausting and at times insufferable, I must fight to continue my journey and keep my dream alive.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for taking the time to read this.

Thank you to all my customers and future customers. Your support helps me fight to keep my dream alive!
