About

A little info about me--I have a bachelor of fine Arts degree from Wayne State University. I have been working with the process of batik on and off for the last 30 years or so. My subject matter is mainly animals and/or nature . Each piece is unique due to the wax and dye process. I use the boiling method to remove the wax-thus ensuring any washing temp is safe! The clothing becomes softer every time it is washed. I use 100% natural fibers to batik on-cotton, linen and silk.

I especially like to do batik clothing for children, and have made a variety of other items-
including pillows, tote bags and scarves. I also make clothing for adults as well. If you have a favorite animal or know someone who does-I'd be happy to do a custom order!
