::thai silver is handcrafted by the various hill tribe people of laos, burma, vietnam, & thailand. hill tribe silver, aka "thai silver" is composed of .955% silver making it more pure than sterling (.925% pure). the remaining percentage is silver alloy. this high grade silver is used because it is extremely soft & malleable allowing these ancient people to use hand tools to etch, carve & shape each piece.
::precious metal clay: Silver clay or PMC (precious metal clay), ACS (art clay silver) is made of fine silver particles that are suspended in a nontoxic organic binder with water. when heated, the binders burn off & the metal particles fuse together leaving 99.9% pure fine silver.
