About

I was diagnosed in 1998 with Multiple Sclerosis. Until early/mid 2010, I have been extremely lucky to be mostly symptom free. I've been living with pain in my hand and foot since then. In September, 2010 that pain got bad enough that I was no longer able to do my true passion...stained glass. I started making jewelry to keep myself busy. My husband was actually the one who suggested that I make myself an orange bracelet to wear to signify my MS. I took it a step further and started making both MS Awareness and Breast Cancer Awareness jewelry. In June, 2012 I started a new craft and have now added a Crochet section. With the changes in the items that I sell, I have also changed my shop name from PJ's Jewelry to Handcrafted by PJ... now ALL of my crafts are covered! It's a good thing all crafts are covered! Because later in 2012 I began sewing and discovered that THAT is another true passion!!
