Carole Balala's Profile

About

I acquired a small flock of rare-breed, Wensleydale sheep about 8 years ago. I immediately fell in love. Now I am enthusiastic about all things felt or sheep related.
I enjoy the wool through the entire process. Watching the sheep grow it throughout the year then ending up with a beautiful, hand-crafted product is an amazing thing to be a part of. I love working with a medium and an animal/human partnership that has been around for thousands of years. My farm is now a sanctuary for sheep that need homes. The animals here are part of the family and get to live out their lives in peace.
