Hi, I have had a love affair with all things vintage since it was simply known as second hand! Years spent rummaging through charity shops, old warehouses, flea markets and vintage fairs, meant that I amassed quite an amount. I found that friends, and often strangers would ask where I got my clothes from and offer to buy them, sometimes off my back!
I tutor English, so decided to put my two passions together, words and clothes, and created 'Prick-me-Dainty.' Here I can create beautiful write ups for beautiful clothes, and share them with you.
Prick-me-Dainty derives from an old 16th Century word that means to dress in ones finery. The first Dandies were referred to by this name, and that is what vintage dressing portrays to me.
