As long as I can remember I have been involved in crafts to one extent or another. I started sewing when I was about 6 years old. I have cut out wood and painted it, tole painting and decorative painting, done flower arranging, cut out cloth and made clothing, crocheted, knitted, made jewelry and everything in between. In fact, I don't think there is a craft that I have not tried! From the time that I was a small child (a long, long, long time ago!) I remember making things with my mother. She belonged to a club that sent her different patterns and crafting supplies once each month. We waited patiently (and sometimes not so patiently) for these things to arrive in the mailbox. We drove everyone crazy with the things we would make. One item I particularly remember making is beads out of egg cartons. My mother passed the love for crafting on to me and I have passed this along to my daughter and now she is passing it along to her…
