Hello, people of Etsy! My name is Liana, and I'm 24 years young. I've experienced much in my short time here on Earth, and because of this, I feel like I have a lot to offer. I have a background in business, and I like to think of myself as a self-starter -- when I was in my teens, I had my own hair accessory business, which was modest, but it was a good starting place. Nowadays, I'm a self-published author (I'm working on my first novel, due out later this year), and I design and make my own line of jewellery, which is what I will be selling here on Etsy.

In May of 2011, I started suffering debilitating health problems -- still undiagnosed -- and I was looking for anything new to distract myself from the pain. It just so happened that I fell into jewellery making only just a few months ago in November, 2011. I self-taught myself everything I know, and I took to it so quickly and progressed so quickly (and continue to do so) that I knew this was something I was meant to do. My grandmother was also a jewellery designer, so it must just be in my blood! I find that, even though it doesn't necessarily ease my pain, it helps relax me since I have the tendency to get so tense.

I also fancy myself something of a baker, having learned many things over the years from many different relatives (some of whom were actually trained professionals). In 2010, after fiddling with my diet, I realised that I had a grain intolerance -- similar to gluten intolerance -- so it is one of my dreams to one day open my own grain- and gluten-free bakery here in my hometown, since there are so few options available.

I doubt many of you have taken the time to read all of this, but if you have, I thank you very much, and if you would ever love to chat -- whether it's about my jewellery, or anything else -- please don't hesitate to send me a message! I'm very approachable and would love to hear from you. :)
