Wendy Bridevaux's Profile

About

My name is Wendy Bridevaux. I am a mother (of two beautiful twins), a
teacher, and an artist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

I often paint on Hurricane Katrina salvaged wood. After the hurricane and during the rebuilding (still happening today!) my mother and I gathered as much old wood and boards to paint on. In this way, I am creating something beautiful out of something so tragic and destructive.

I love creating art, jewelry, clothing, and accessories from "upcycled" materials. Not only is it a creative challenge, but it is great for the environment!
