About

My design career began at the age of 5 when I peeked into my mother’s jewelry box and redesigned her engagement ring by "retrofitting" it to my tiny finger. So began my life-long love for jewelry, art and design. Today, I bring that same passion to my new creations. I love watercolors, old fabrics and rusty metals. For the most part, I use existing materials in my work, but don’t necessarily use my teeth anymore to make them fit. I am most happy when I'm able to re-work a salvaged fabric remnant or a scrap of crusty metal with a aged patina into a unique one-of-a-kind piece. Each durable design is hand-crafted from materials gathered from around the world and always with an eye to reflecting the re-claimed beauty of a vintage artifact.
