About

Growing up in the Midwestern state of Minnesota, Amy has over 20 years of experience creating jewelry. From an early age she has always been a creative force. Whether making acorn families or drawing or painting, Amy has always been busy creating with her hands and mind. Her penchant for capturing and recycling some of the beauty nature provides is evident in everything she does. A true master is she.

What started out as a hobby making gifts for friends and family would slowly begin to grow. Her love of music and creativity would eventually cross paths and she found herself traveling around the country listening to the music of the Grateful Dead which only inspired her creative and artistic passions that much more. She began to realize making jewelry could grow into something profitable. She was being sought out for her unique and exceptional designs by people from all over the world. Eventually the Hemp and FIMO medium gave way to working with Sterling Silver.

Naturally evolving within that artistic spirit Amy would begin to create a family of her own. As her family grew her time making jewelry would often become secondary. But when times got tight her craft and hard work would many times pull her family through reinforcing the vision that she could build this into more than a hobby.
Primitive Nature continues to grow every day.

"As a lifelong artist I've used many mediums but my favorites are those found in nature."
