In 1999, I began making jewelry with fishing line and plastic beads as a hobby. At that time, I mostly enjoyed making simple patterns and experimenting with color combinations. As the years went by, I educated myself about the physical structure of different kinds of jewelry, and I learned how to work with many different types of materials. This diverse knowledge enables me to be very creative with my jewelry ideas.
I sometimes think of myself as a jewelry engineer because when I design and create a piece, I have to be sure it has been constructed with the appropriate hardware to make it a lasting product. Not only do I want my pieces to be visually appealing, I also strive to make each item durable. I use good quality materials to ensure that the jewelry is structurally sound as well as beautiful.
I am very passionate…
