Linda's Lovely Dolls was started out of a love for dolls when I saw Poor Pitiful Pearl in a toy store near my home on Bird Road in Miami Florida. I think I was 11 years old. I loved that doll I think because I could relate to her. My soul felt poor. Even though I had plenty of nice clothes to wear, unlike Pearl, and a home to live in, I still felt poor. I did get her for Christmas that year; my mother told me there weren't any more but she was under the tree! I played with that doll for years and still have her. Fast forward many years I no longer feel poor, I know God loves me. I still love dolls, especially Pearl. Every time I look at her I get a good feeling.
