Welcome to Psychedelic Tara' s Groovy Gift Emporium

I am a child of the 60s. I marched against Vietnam...my band played on the smaller stage at Woodstock...I used to go see Bob Dylan in the mid-60s, saw the Grateful Dead for the first time at a free concert in Central Park in 1967.

I have been drawing and designing since I was a young girl, when I designed my own line of PDCs (Paper Dolls Clothes) at age 12.

The first time I actually sold something I made was at the Boston Be-In in 1967. It had never occurred to me that I could sell things that I made, to earn money! Until that time I had always worked for somebody else. I haven't stopped since then!

I've done many different crafts over the years, including marbleizing, tie dyeing, crocheting my own unique designs, knitting, yarn dyeing, embroidery, journal-making, sewing, and most recently, photography. I also have self-published a Coloring Book of my drawings (Color Me Rainbow).

These days I'm a politics junkie, and spend most of my time reading, watching, listening and blogging about Politics. My creative efforts have been going into new, snarky screen printed designs on T-shirts and Left-Handed Mugs I've also been expanding into Greeting Cards, Postcards and Keyrings.

I also have a passion for Indie Music (mostly British). I know it seems odd for an old hippie like me to have even FOUND Indie Music, but it is the only type of music that I listen to these days.

If you don't see the size or color of what you want in my store, please ask, I may be able to make it exactly how you want it. I welcome Custom and/or Bulk Button and Magnet Orders - just ask for a quote.

Peace Out, People!!!
