About

My motto is "use it all". I do not waste materials, after the resource and energy is expended to produce something I make as complete use of it as possible. Recently I have aquired logs from the tornadoes that went through this area on April 27, 2011 and more recent storms this year and have started creating some items from them. Sometimes it is almost to emotionally overwhelming to continue these pieces so they take a long time to complete. Examples of these items are the walnut lamp base in the shape of an amphora, the turned cedar bowls, the cedar boxes and more to come. Please consider these items, they are very genuine and I use the proceeds to benefit the people affected by the tornadoes.

About

My motto is "use it all". I do not waste materials, after the resource and energy is expended to produce something I make as complete use of it as possible. I have been a furniture maker/woodworker all my life, I have always worked in my own small shop, now located in Chattanooga, TN, near the foot of Lookout Mountain, a very scenic and serene place. The building my shop is in dates to about 1917, one part was a laboratory for a textile company and has a huge Mosler brand walk in vault still in place.
My main objective is to be creative and produce quality items no matter how large or small. Every piece and every customer deserves my full time and effort. My best pieces have come about in unexpected ways, and with input from unexpected people, so I keep an open mind and am not to proud to accept input. I have achieved a level of indepedence that allows me to devote time to creating inlaid boxes, turned lamp bases, walnut tables, decoupage boxes and more varied pieces than ever before. I appreciate your consideration and am pleased by the orders. Thank you.
