Welcome to Paulownia's....

I have two looms, there is always a project on one of them, especially using silk and chenille yarns. I spend hours searching for the best quality and most beautiful Japanese Kimonos and Kimono fabrics with my suppliers. I have a high end embroidery machine and spend hours creating new embroidery designs. I also create my own stencils and search for only the best fabric paints to enhance my projects. Some people have asked me, what is Paulownia (my shop's name) ? A Paulownia is a tree that grows in Japan that has gorgeous Orchid like flowers on it. There is a myth that states, whenever the Phoenix (mythological bird) flies over Japan it will always land on a Paulownia tree. Phoenix and Paulownia are greatly used motifs in the creations of the silk fabrics for the Kimono. I found these trees and have two of them growing on my property, far far away from the land to which they were born
