I love paper and I love puttering. It is fun to come up with new designs and see them come to life. Always trying to work with new materials and create a card that will inspire someone to put pen to paper.
I have two main correspondence influences. The first was my maternal grandfather (Australian). He would write his letters on onion paper ( I LOVE ONION PAPER). And he would write with a fountain pen. His letters would be pages and pages of day-to-day life observations or when I was younger, stories created using local animals such as the kookaburra or magpie.
The second writing influence was my paternal grandfather (Canadian). He would type all his letters and they would always be one page. Succinct yet sincere, he would dispense advice and in turn his love. His typewriter- an Underwood- is currently "on loan" to me and is the one…
