Hello, I'm Ashley Rae.

I learned how to do basic crochet from my grandma when I was 5 years old. It was an on and off thing for many years, while I was slowly learning other crafty things through high school and college.

I never knew what I wanted to be when I grew up, not until college. I found I didn't want to do what I was getting a degree in (which sucks bills wise) but I wanted to do more, be more, make a difference. I wanted to be an entrepreneur.

I always enjoyed crafting and making homemade gifts for friends and family. I thought maybe I could start a handmade business/ But I never thought anyone made enough money to sustain themselves in that line of work…

Until I read an article in Inc. Magazine.
It was all about Etsy and how people have quit their day job to make and sell what they love.

So here I am trying to succeed and make a difference in the handmade community. Showing people the love and value that goes into things that are handmade.
