About

My Granny taught me how to crochet when I was 8. I remember sitting in her living room while her "stories" were on TV and crocheting together. I always felt it was something special that she and I shared.

She's passed on now, but every time I pick up my hook, I think of her and those precious times. It helps me crochet with a light heart. :)

It was my mother that taught me how to cross-stitch; the best way to keep consistent stitches, how to anchor your floss without leaving a bump, and how to find joy in the little details.

I've moved on from towel holders and simple cross-stitch projects and now focus on the wonderful worlds of geekery. I love surrounding myself with the things many of us are so passionate about!
