Hello, my name is Ray. I've been selling on Ebay for a little while, but new to Etsy. We hope you enjoy our unique creations in shark tooth jewelry. Everything we create is one of a kind, we do not duplicate any of our pieces. We specialize in combining gemstones and vintage materials with shark teeth to create handcrafted, one of a kind original pieces at affordable prices. In the past we have primarily used fossilized shark teeth and continue to do so in many of our pieces. However, recently, by popular demand I have acquired several shark jaws from sharks recently caught off the coast of Georgia in this years shark fishing season. I have extracted the teeth myself and prepared them for use in our pieces. The white teeth you see in our pieces are from these lemon, black tip and bull sharks. In addition, I will be creating shark tooth earrings using the baby white teeth which are extremely hard to find. I now have them from a…

In addition, I will be creating shark tooth earrings using the baby white teeth which are extremely hard to find. I now have them from a microscopic size up to 1/4 inch to be used in our shark tooth earrings. If you like shark teeth, and enjoy having genuine gemstone pieces, (who doesn't?), give our items a try. They are quality pieces, don't let the affordable price fool you! Everyone wants something nice and unique to wear without having to pay top dollar or worrying about who you are going to hand it down to when you are no longer on this Earth. Our items are not solid gold or silver, but we use only genuine gemstone and the spacers and wire are always at the least silver plated. The cord is good quality with silver plated lobster clasps. We stand behind our product! We are not a huge company so you will always get personal service and your items will be shipped immediately. Always 100% positive feedback.
On my off time enjoy playing guitar, singing and writing songs. I was once a lead singer for a popular country band... back in the days before I had to change my ways... I got started making shark tooth jewelry about five years ago. I was doing some work for a friend and came across thousands of shark teeth she had in jars in her home. I asked her if I could have some of the teeth just because I thought they were interesting and I had collected a few over the years myself. Well, she gave me about 1000 teeth. From that point I started learning about the different species and eventually got to the point where I can identify just about any tooth. One day I was sitting around and thought.... hey, that would be cool on a necklace. Within a couple of weeks I made about 100 different designs and began selling them locally. My first works were VERY crude to say the least. I would work at it a little and then lay the idea down or life would get in the way as it often does and sidetrack me. For some reason I held on to the teeth and the idea of creating jewely continued to pick at me for the next couple of years. In June of this year, I decided that it was time to either try my hand at this art or let it go. With the help of my beautiful supportive wife, I began picking up vintage items wherever I went, flea markets, yard sales, as well as purchasing new gemstones and other items on etsy and ebay. I began listing my creations on ebay in July of this year. Its a work in progress, the designs and quality have come a long way in a very short time. We shoot all of our own photography on a six year old cannon camera, no lighting enhancements, what you see is what you get. Its a collaborative effort between my wife and I. She enjoys wrapping the shark teeth and creating the focal piece while I create the necklace part of the piece. Often times, our pieces are created from two completely separate thoughts, hers from the creation of the center focal piece and mine from the gemstones, beads, bone or whatever I decide to build around it. It's alot of fun, we enjoy it and we hope you do too.
