Hi there, my name is Kim. I work in an arts and crafts store on a part time basis (if only full time work was available). I also go to school part time working on my degree in Multimedia/Digital Arts. I love messing with graphics. Adobe Illustrator is one of my favorite programs. But I also get to mess around with audio and video, which is very awesome.

I like to think of myself as a creative person. I've always been a drawer. As a little girl, I enjoyed coloring inside the lines. Today I love to mess around and make my own lines. I color inside and out, whatever I'm feeling at the time. Even then there aren't always lines.

Jewelry making is something I picked up a few years ago after I really couldn't afford nice things to give as gifts…

Jewelry making is something I picked up a few years ago after I really couldn't afford nice things to give as gifts. I became so enamored by all the beautiful beads that were available that I wanted to keep doing it. After all, I could never find nice jewelry for myself that I was truly in love with. I have since delved into metalwork and chainmaille to further expand my creativity. With the help of my wonderful jewelry teacher I've made rings, clasps, chainmaille bracelets and necklaces, and carved out wax to be used in lost wax casting. However, I don't have too much of that to offer as I don't have my own home studio other than chainmaille. I find it absolutely amazing what one can make out of pure metal.

I'm always looking for new ideas. I prefer to find inspiration in artwork or what people may be wearing at the time, nature, city landscapes, etc.
