My grandmother taught me how to sew when I was a little girl and I've been drawing since I could pick up a crayon. A favorite childhood picture is of me napping at my little table surrounded by Play-doh after some fun-sculpty-time. I have been an artist and mad-crafter ever since. When I am not working/ teaching/ or creating my own jewelry and commissions, I love sewing, knitting, embroidering, dyeing wool yarn, and keeping my kitty away from all the tempting threads these activities create. A maker of beautiful things by compulsion, grace and joy.

As a side note, I skated (roller derby!) with the Atlanta Rollergirls on a team, then as a referee. Good times and AMAZING women...consensual physical contact on roller skates is a good thing!
