About

All of my work is made from reclaimed window glass that has been slump fired (heated to it's softening point) in my kiln.

I use my dishes every day,for everything: breakfast, lunch & dinner. The bowls are great for salads, pasta, or as fruit bowls to leave out on the counter top. The "everyday" pieces can be put in the dishwasher, although I turn off the “heat to dry” setting, & hand wash the larger sized serving platters

The reason I choose to work with window glass, as opposed to other types of glass, is that it is mostly overlooked, as far as recycling programs are concerned.
Most recycling centers accept only bottles/jars, since only container glass has a "standardized" expansion coefficient.

Window glass (also known as ‘plate glass’) has a different expansion coefficient, (it heats & cools differently) from container glass, & therefore can’t be mixed together.
I work with local contractors & glass shops, helping them to recycle what would otherwise go straight to the landfill.

I can’t reuse everything……I only work with ¼” thick glass, to make sturdy, durable pieces, that you will enjoy looking at as much as you enjoy using them.

With our wide range of sizes, shapes, and styles, you can compose diverse sets - Even complete wedding registries

All pieces are hand signed
