About

My Red Eft Philosophy of life is: I like to make stuff. And by stuff I mean everything. Red Eft Designs on ETSY showcases all of my craftastic products and latest offerings.

I am mainly a fiber (silk shibori & tie-dye) and chainmaille (anodized alumninum) artist, but I also make cold process soap, I spin, I sew, I bead, I knit and crochet, I make things from polymer clay and sometimes glass. I have recently started electroforming copper onto jewelry. I also like to cook all kinds of food, listen to music (especially the Grateful Dead), and spend time looking after our goats and chickens and 10 cats. I go back and forth between Buffalo, NY and Sandy, OR and although they're completely across the country from each other, I love them both and I do different crafts at my studio in each location.

On the www.redeftshibori.com website, you can check out my 'How to Wear a Shibori Scarf' section and my 'What's an Eft' section if you're interested in what I do and make. My husband Erik and I create tie dyes for sale here on ETSY under 'madebyhippies' or online at www.madebyhippies.com!

Thanks for looking! Peace!
