Hello and welcome...

I fell in love with Vintage and "Up-Cycle" fashion during my college years in Seattle, WA. I had lived in a very eclectic part of Seattle call Capitol Hill for many years. The "Grunge" era took place and I had a huge crush on Kurt Cobain from Nirvana. I didn't have a car back then, hardly any bills, no credit cards... but I was ultimately happy. Those were many fond memories - my eyes opened up to a whole new world other than what I was use to growing up in Southern California.

I had not known why that phase faded away... it could have been that I had started to make more money and my thirst for luxury goods and fancy cars took over; consumerism in full force.

I was young and had not really appreciate, nor seen, the bigger picture of what recycling and handmade goods does for the the soul and for our lovely planet. I am glad that those fond memories have revisited me and I am back to doing something that I love and believe in.

I started my shop, Rehab Rags on Etsy to offer handmade goods, vintage and up-cycle fashion but found out that I got hit with the knitting and crocheting bug again. I went ahead and postpone Rehab Rags and open up :

But now I am back to bring Rehab Rags in full force as this is also an outlet for me to share another part of my creativity and style.

I believe in saving and reviving old trends and the everyday clothing article. By pumping up-to-date style, color and energy into an old article, I create what I call "Up-Cycle" fashion - a revolution for clothing!

Though I crave fashion in many forms, you will most likely see me in a pair of Levis (my ultimate favorite), flip flops, and t-shirt majority of the time...that's when I am at my best and happiest :)

Love,
Keona
