About

My desire for all things green and eco-friendly has driven me to open an Etsy store. I have a passion for finding a second use for discarded items. And trying to keep things out of the landfill.

I’ve opened this store to explore my creative side and to see what I can do to help make the earth a better place for our children. I think we need more choices when it comes to how we shop!

I hope others will appreciate it and love my hand-made, eco-friendly items. Take care of yourself and the earth. Practice mindful consumerism.

I use recycled or re-used packaging materials whenever possible. My items and surroundings are always smoke/pet/treenut/peanut free.

Sales tax will be added for Washington state residents…

Sizes
My regular bags are great for everyday shopping but people are different and not everyone shops the same. My smalls are pretty small - good for a handful of mushrooms or hot peppers for a recipe. Medium can hold 3 or 4 large apples. If in doubt, go for the bigger size. And if you're looking to haul around 5 lbs. of potatoes or your bounty of corn ears, I'd recommend our heavy duty option. :-)

Returns
I haven't devleoped a return policy because I haven't had to yet. Please let me know right away if there's a problem with your order and I'll make it right!

The History of Re-Market Reusable Produce Bags
While grocery shopping in early Nov. 2007, I was wishing for a better alternative to the plastic produce bags. I researched the marketplace to find something I had in mind, but it didn't appear to exist anywhere. The produce bags I found where not see-through and a little too heavy.

I created some prototypes of different fabrics and sizes until I found something that seemed just right. My family tried them out for a couple of weeks and we loved them. I posted a set up in my shop and made my first sale on Nov. 22, 2007.

I now make four different sizes and seven varieties. And my idea seems to be spreading across the internet ... So much fun!
