About

I was born in California but began traveling when I was 4 years old and haven't stopped yet. All the years of living out of suitcases and moving almost every three years were definitely a wonderful start at looking at the world through lots of different lenses. Some of those lens were wonderful and exotic, some of them were frightening, and some of them were just to be endured, none of them were boring. All of them contributed to The Artist.

I was lucky in my education as it too happened in many different ways in many different places. Some places I was dead brilliant and others pretty average. But I learned foreign languages, learned how to and how not to make friends and discovered that art was a universal language. I was busted in the 2nd grade for sneaking art supplies home so I could make more collages.

I was lucky in my education as it too happened in many different ways in many different places. Some places I was dead brilliant and others pretty average. While I was majoring in Education in College I also majored in art and spent all my time in the art studios and discovered I didn't like children, a bad start to a teaching profession ( I liked adults though). I graduated from Colorado Women's College and also attended U Of Colo. U of New Mexico, U of Texas, U of Houston, and Midland College. Just studied where ever I was.

I love the act of creating and mostly the process of making art.....I find the process the most exciting thing there is about art and most other things. The end result, that's nice.....but the getting there, the journey, gosh, thats where the chills are, that inner voice that rattles and says yes. I suppose that's my achilles heel.....I'd rather make art.......and the sales part is my shadow side. That part of me that is a constant struggle. Sometimes on Etsy I feel like I'm drowning, but this also is a pretty safe place to be. But then again.........
