Welcome to my Esty Shop. I'm Sharon Driscoll, I've been a metalsmith for nearly 30 years and a lampworker for over 15.

I learned my love of craft from my mother. Our family had a long history of tatters, knitters, crocheters, sewers and such. It was from these decades of examples that I learned to value carefully made handwork and good design. I never took up those beautiful hand arts, but have settled on the "stiffer" mediums of metal and glass.

So why Right Turn ArtWerks? It only makes sense (to me!). My studio name stems from an abiding admiration of those familial examples and from a slight quirk of my mom's.
