About

I'm Brigitte, currently living in Florida, going to graduate school for literature, and spending too much time making gimrackery when I should be doing other things. I love creating odd little things and sending them out into the world.

I am moving everything to my Zombuki shop at http://zombuki.etsy.com/ because running two shops it too hard ;3

Frequently Asked Questions ...

What's an ATC/ACEO?

ACEO stands for Artists Cards Editions and Originals, they measure 2.5" x 3.5" and are usually prints in either limited or open editions. They are different from ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) in that ATCs must be original works, otherwise they are considered to be ACEOs.

What's a Zine?

Zines are DIY publications which gained widespread (albeit underground) popularity in the 70s. Zines experienced a hayday in the mid-to-late 90s with the help of Factsheet 5 and the publication of multiple books. They're generally produced by counter culture or underground people/movements and cover a huge range of topics. Personal zines, also known as Perzines, and music zines are some of the most common. Standard size is 4.25" x 5.5" (a standard piece of paper folded in half) because that's the easiest to copy. Zines are written, photocopied, folded, stapled, sewn or otherwise assembled, completely by hand.
