I was just a boy in Central Oregon when I got my first camera. No formal training in photography just reading and learning from friends. What formal training I did have was in Graphic Design from Oregon State University. I started my graphic design career with a t-square and an exact-o knife migrating to a mouse, then a digital pad with the computer. It was Digital Photography that really allowed me to explore the world and not worry about what to shoot and what not to shoot. I just shoot and delete later, or shoot first and ask questions later. When I am working on the computer my motto is “what if” mixed with my outdoor motto of “The more I see, the more I look.” I am always amazed at the wonders of nature, from flowers to clouds, or from lizards to hawks. After all, nature is a never-ending source of inspiration just waiting to be explored both physically and artistically.

Personalized Advertising
To enable personalized advertising (like interest-based ads), we may share your data with our marketing and advertising partners using cookies and other technologies. Those partners may have their own information they’ve collected about you. Turning off the personalized advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads or impact Etsy's own personalization technologies, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.
This type of data sharing may be considered a “sale” of information under California privacy laws. Turning off personalized advertising opts you out of these “sales.” Learn more in our Privacy Policy., Help Center, and Cookies & Similar Technologies Policy.
