In my "real" job I am an art historian which is (most of the time) the coolest job in the world. I also have two small kids -- ages 3.5 and 1.5 -- who keep me on my toes.

I started making jewelry a few years ago and was frustrated that I couldn't find cool beads. The magic moment was when I discovered vintage lucite -- so many beautiful beads mimicking every imaginable material at a fraction of the cost!

I make jewelry to relax and to play with color and form, but one day I realized that I had made more jewelry than I could ever wear and decided to open an Etsy shop. My plan: to sell my vintage lucite jewelry so that I can buy more beads to make more vintage lucite jewelry.
