About

Ever since I was young I loved to make things. Whether it was cooking pretend "bud soup" at the trunk of my favorite red maple, or illustrating my own stories, I found a certain peace working with my hands. Like many Etsy women at one time, the demands of every day life and a full-time job remanded my creative self to the back seat. Like all back seat drivers, my creative self continued to nag me to start creating again because one can never truly silence the passion.

Fast forward to today (whoosh--that's the sound of many years flying by--I won't say how many) and I've rediscovered my creative joy, this time with jewelry making. it's opened up a world of endless possibilities. My current favorites are raw, organic shapes, gemstones such as labradorite, moss aquamarine and citrine, and Czech glass beads in all their glorious colors and variety.

I'm attracted to beads that evoke the earth, sky and sea. I especially love to design earrings, which we women can never have enough pairs.

Nature teaches us to be true to ourselves and encourages us to live life passionately. Like the little girl who whipped up "bud soup" under that big, old maple, I'm once again working with my hands and have rediscovered the peace and joy that comes with it. I'm happy to share my designs with you, and hope you enjoy wearing my creations as much as I love making them.
