The name of my shop is a nod to my Australian roots. I enjoy finding pieces from the past that can be revitalized. I love color, textiles and anything out of the ordinary.
I especially like things that remind me of growing up in the 60s and 70s when I lived in Cambridge, Mass. near Design Research, the revolutionary home furnishing store that introduced Scandinavian design to the United States. Memories of that store and its influence on the design world continue to inspire me.
Whether it's a vintage Saarinen dining chair updated in Knoll fabric or new pillows made from a vintage Don Wight textile (both recently sold items and can seen on the “About” page of my shop) there are no rules when you decorate with vintage pieces and your creativity can be endless.
