I have been an artist for many years working and teaching in several mediums. It has always been important for my work to have emotion and to tell its own story. When I began creating jewelry I decided each piece should have its own voice. I found myself focusing on angels, fairies, and strong goddess like figures as they symbolize hope and strength.
It has been a priority to use up cycled/recycled pieces in my work. Not only is it important in our world today, its also a smart way to make use of materials that might otherwise be sold for scrap. I purchase old sterling silver and recreate it into whimsical jewelry. All of the little hands, feet, and wings are cut from recycled metals.
