About

I'm a wife and mom who loves photography and design. Here's a little listy-list if you want to know more. :)

I love my coffee cold and my tea hot. Oh and I adore bubble tea and get one every chance I get at St. Louis Bubble Tea.

I got my start in photography some 15 years ago while working at my hometown newspaper after college. I loved shooting sports, especially basketball games. We were an all film operation at the time and I always had a tight deadline after Friday games. I’m originally from Indiana, so yep, I’m a Hoosier…the good kind. :)
I’m addicted to pretty office products and visit Target, Staples and Office Max frequently to feed my addiction.

When decorating I’m a firm believer in mixing textures, mediums, materials. I love the idea of combining items that are more natural in design with items that have a more urban grittier vibe. Oooh, just thinking makes my brain happy.

I hated my name for oh the first 15 or so years of my life, especially when I came to finding cool things with my name on them…which of course never happened. I was stuck choosing between a bike license with Rachel or Michelle, sadly there was never a Rochelle option. Of course as I got a little older and started celebrating my individuality, I learned to love my name. I’ve never in my life met another person with my name, which I think is kind of cool.
