My earliest memory of art is a Degas print I had in my bedroom when I was 5. I was destined to either be a ballerina or an artist. Seeing as I never took a dance lesson, art it was.

Since then I have been fascinated with all sorts of things-- graceful women, trees, houses, the sky, miniatures, prehistoric art, science fiction, fashion, animal spirits, geology, the collage of NYC, birds, cats, mythology, genetics, hands, words, Shakespeare, children's books, dreams, fairy tales, poetry, ladders, basements, blueprints, tarot, superheroes, monsters and pretty much almost everything that has crossed my path.

This curiosity has served me well in my pursuits of art, writing, teaching, design and spirituality.
