My love of poetry inspires me to paint. In each painting the words of a poem are captured in an image using Persian calligraphy.

Traditional style of Persian or Arabic calligraphy is not used in these paintings. This work is primitive and often asymmetrical. All mistakes are left untouched in the painting.

The cards are created by converting a photo of the painting to black and white (two have the original color). You can find the map of some of the words in the image as well as the translation of the poem-line on the back of the card.

All cards are blank, so you can create your own poetry, prose or art.

The prints are limited edition reproduction of the paintings in black and white or color. Each will have a number as…
