Rusty Junque Whatnot Shop's Profile

About

Welcome to the Rusty Junque & Whatnot Shop! I specialize in repurposed, reused, recyled items and whatnots. Whatnots is really my way of including other things that grab my attention and speak to me and which I do not want to repurpose.

I am happily married to the most amazing man! I recently resigned from the corporate world to spend time with my family....and ME! With only one left at home and a sophmore in highschool, I didn't want to miss these years. My new found time has me volunteering at my daughters school and revisiting my love of creating. Making rag rugs is a wonderful way to use just about any fabric. My grandmother taught me to crochet when I was in my teens. I don't recall a time that she did not have a hook and yarn at the ready. Somewhere along the way, I took up rug making and greatly enjoy it. Upcycling with ceramics is my new found passion and, needless to say, my craft room now looks like a 2nd hand store. I also have a love of all things primitive, vintage, rustic and just plain old. I have been selling my upcycled items and rugs at Smiths Marketplace in Richland, WA and decided to bring them to Etsy to share on a wider scale.

***I am a proud member of an Etsy Team called The Old Farmhouse Gathering.
