Lynda Naclerio's Profile

About

During a rather lengthy eye injury, I turned to drawing as a means to work out my frustrations. As years passed and the rusted metal incident was forgotten, I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, torticollis and scoliosis, fancy words for proof that I am slightly twisted and have too much brain for my own good. For lack of a better term I call my art style "folked up," and in 2004 turned some of my self-imposed therapy into an online comic strip which still runs three days a week at TailsFromTheBackyard.com and on my Tumblr.

I'm an avid photographer, and have taken over 15,000 photographs of my pets (they're very cute). I edit and retouch photos (yeah, yeah, I airbrush people, they seem to like it) and have the disturbing habit of creating unlikely celebrity group shots for family and friends.

I take requests!
