Sage and Kai's Profile
The idea for Sage & Kai sprouted while packing my daughter's lunch box. I thought about how much garbage we were contributing every day, and figured there had to be a better way. Something reusable and more enjoyable than paper napkins and plastic bags. I took up sewing to make cloth alternatives. I haven't stopped.
I've been a crafter all my life, but had considered sewing "Grandma's thing" up to this point. Suddenly, I had a whole new outlet for creative expression, a form in which the end result was something functional - and I could establish a style all my own! I continue to find this exciting.
Supporting suppliers who make an effort toward sustainability with materials that are friendly to both people and planet is a huge bonus. I see this little shop as an opportunity to build a business based on…
