HELLO AND WELCOME! I am thrilled to be a part of this cool and unique community of crafty people from around the world. Now here is a little bit about me.

I am Debra Gainor, the crafty engineer behind Sage Sky. In my opinion, making stuff from old things is therapeutic. Forget the shrink. Be crafty! No really, I am quite normal. I am a mother of two little girls. In fact, they are the inspiration for the name of my business. I have been married for twelve years to my incredible and loving husband, Glenn.

I am also a native Texan who relocated to Los Angeles California fourteen years ago. Talk about a culture shock!

But I found my niche in the Hollywood Hills after we settled into a 1925 Spanish house (a continuous labor of love). To this day, I surround myself with vintage art and antiquities.

Sage Sky is what I like to think of as a home for old things thrown out and made new for others to cherish. I enjoy finding unique vintage ephemera to place on poker chips, vintage scrabble tile, blocks, bowling pins or just whatever jumps out at me that I think will work. Some of the oddest things catch my eye and scream out, “Please help me be loved again!” That’s how Sage Sky was born. But of course having two little girls, you will see cute seasonal accessories ever so often.

I hope you enjoy my new shop on Etsy. Feel free to ask me any questions.
