My name is Lisa and I am thrilled that you are interested in hearing about me and my artistic journey.

I am a mom to three great kids and a wife to a great, even bigger kid:-) We are a transplant family, originally from the Midwest, now living in and LOVING the Pacific Northwest. The Seattle area is one of those places where the arts are vibrant and appreciated, and for me, has inspired a reconnection with my artistic side.

I work mostly with Precious Metal Clay which is fine silver suspended in clay with a binding agent. The binder burns off when the clay is fired in a kiln and the result is 99% pure fine silver. Please check out my seller information page to learn more about my artisan…

Of course, I pull my family into my world of jewelry making. We have become sea glass collectors living on the Salish Sea. We especially love collecting sea glass from the beaches around Port Townsend, WA, where the Straight of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound meet. You will find bits and pieces of our collection in my jewelry.....Glass harvested with love, during family beach outings. I love mixing sea glass with fine silver, thus, my Etsy shop name evolved. Salish Silver 'n' Sea.

Thank you for taking time to learn about me and my journey. I truly hope you enjoy my shop and are inspired by what you see.
