teresa's Profile

About

Since 2006, Teresa began designing and making handbags in her Los Angeles home studio while working full time at an architecture firm. Her focus on sustainable design and access to discarded sample materials inspired her to develop designs out of salvaged materials. In 2012 she established SalvageShop as an official business. Though she no longer practices architecture, her love for clean, simple lines is evident in her current work. Still sustainably conscious, her bags are made of dead stock leather and remnants. Much of her work consists of original one of-a-kind designs. Teresa has recently expanded her line to include apparel for women. She proudly offers simple, modern, classic hand made in the USA designs with a touch of edginess for the current woman.
