in your hearts, and on this land.”
Sam Clark

Sam has had a love affair with Africa since she can remember, venturing there for the first time in 2009.

Sam has had a love affair with Africa since she can remember, venturing there for the first time in 2009.

With the deep respect for all living creatures, and compassion to look after them, came the natural progression into the world of conservation. Sam is a firm believer that photography plays an important role in the conservation industry. ‘If we can educate people, evoke emotion, encouraging people to feel compassion towards our wildlife through powerful imagery, then people will want to look after and protect what we have’ says Sam.
Sam uses her images to raise funding towards several conservation organizations including Walking For Lions for which she is now the Australian coordinator. She also supports Orphans and schools in Africa.
Now running small group African photographic safaris and even though photography based, all have an underlying conservation awareness incorporated into each itinerary.
As well as Giclee prints, Sam also carries a line of bookmarks, cards, magnets, and photo jewellery with her lines expanding. She also hopes to publish a book in the near future.
Originally from New Zealand, Sam now resides in Melbourne, Australia with her two children and cat.
