I am a second generation basketmaker.. My mother made, sold and displayed baskets after she learned the skill from a wonderful woman on the Yakama Indian reservation. My sister also carries on the family tradition. My daughter is just beginning to learn the craft.

I live in the forested mountains of Central Washington State with my husband and my two golden retrievers and a rescued mouse. I am the grandmother of two wonderful girls.

I have a Psych degree and minored in art and cultural anthropology at Washington State University (GO COUGS!). My husband and I love to travel and see new places and when we can, we chase storms in the summer. I have yet to catch any.
